The San Francisco 49ers and Carolina Panthers released their final injury reports for the week, and we have one late addition. Wide receiver Kyle Williams was added to the report with a knee issue. Williams was a full participant in practice on Friday, and is listed as probable for Sunday's game.
The 49ers have some tough decisions to make as far as who will be inactive this Sunday. Quinton Patton is the only lock to be out, with all three questionable players expected to play. Coach Harbaugh indicated on Wednesday that this was a week in which players were going to need to state their case for game day activation.
We know that Joe Looney will likely be inactive, as will McLeod Bethel-Thompson. I suspect Jon Baldwin will join them, and I am not holding my breath for Tank Carradine to be active on Sunday. With Quinton Patton, that would put us at five players. Who are the other two? Is Kyle Williams looking at a deactivation? If LaMichael James is going to get return duties, as has been speculated, Williams would be an obvious option. Maybe Eric Wright joins them for this first week?
What do you think?
