The San Francisco 49ers host the St. Louis Rams in a big Week 13 matchup. The 49ers are 7-4 and looking to maintain their lead in the NFC wildcard race. The Rams are 5-6 and looking to hang around. A loss more or less drops them out of the wildcard race while a win pulls them to within two games of the final wildcard spot.

The 49ers are 7 1/2 point favorites. They are getting Michael Crabtree back, which bodes well for a passing attack that has struggled with anything remotely resembling consistency. We saw some big things last week as Kap was able to make some big plays against Washington. Having Crabtree back, and Manningham getting another week under his built gives us some reason for confidence.

This will be your first quarter game thread, and we'll be back with a new thread each quarter. We'll wrap things up with a recap thread.
