Colin Kaepernick Beats by Dre ad angers Seahawks fans

49ers QB Colin Kaepernick is part of a new ad campaign with Beats by Dre. His newest ad does not please Seahawks fans.

I'd prefer to move past 49ers-Seahawks week, but this is too good to pass up. Over the weekend, Beats by Dre released a new ad featuring Colin Kaepernick. I've posted it above for you to view. The ad opens with Kap on the team bus headed to a game in an "unknown" location. Of course, the ad features fans in colors that probably remind us of a certain division rival. The ad features angry fans yelling at the bus, throwing things at the bus, someone peeing on the bus, and everybody generally raising a raucous. Kap proceeds to put on his Beats by Dre, music kicks in and he is able to tune out the fans.

I checked out the ad over the weekend and figured that was that. Silly me. Seahawks fans are not taking too kindly to how they are portrayed. The ad never actually references Seattle or the Seahawks (well, excluding the dismal gray weather), but it seems pretty clearly implied. And naturally Seahawks fans went off on it. 49ers fans would likely respond in similar fashion if the roles were reversed and it was Russell Wilson in San Francisco, but it doesn't make it any less funny to see this kind of response.
