The San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers released their final injury reports for Week 15, and there are not a lot of surprises.
The 49ers are getting healthier, and really are about as healthy as they've been this season. The questionable players include Tarell Brown, Mike Iupati, Mario Manningham and Vance McDonald. From that group, my guess is Iupati and Brown sit out again. Jim Harbaugh told the media there was a possibility Iupati plays, but I'm just not seeing it yet. Brown is out of his non-contact jersey, but I could see this taking another week.
Michael Crabtree was a full participant in Friday's practice, and is listed as probable for the game. He was limited Wednesday and Thursday, but the team seems plenty comfortable with him at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if he was given some rest early each week the rest of the way. There's no need to overdo it given how much they'll potentially need him in January.
We also are starting to see the shoulder injuries appearing on the injury report. Aldon Smith was a full participant this week and is listed as probable. It hopefully isn't a huge deal, but this is his third straight week on the injury report with a shoulder issue. Last season, he made multiple appearances and eventually ended up having surgery for a torn labrum after the Super Bowl. We'll want to keep an eye out for any such news after this season wraps up.
