Week 14 is officially upon us, although it gets off with a bit a whimper. Thursday Night Football features the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars. This game brings us two reasons to watch: fantasy football and the 2014 NFL Draft.
For fantasy football, most leagues begin their playoffs today. Four-team playoffs will start next week, but six and eight team playoffs get going today. I made the playoffs in two of my four leagues, with one of the remaining two being a four-team playoff. I know most people don't care about other people's fantasy football leagues, but you can at least care about your own league!
Tonight's game also has draft intrigue, as these two teams currently occupy the top two spots in the draft order. A Texans loss will ensure they at least remain a game up on everybody else for the top pick. It could be worth a king's ransom with some of the talent available. If you want to use this as an open thread for draft discussion as well as game discussion, go to town.
