The San Francisco 49ers released their final injury report, and as expected, left tackle Joe Staley is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. The 49ers left tackle suffered a sprained MCL last week against the Rams, but the injury appears to be more modest than the one suffered by Mike Iupati. Staley said on the radio this morning, and again at media availability today, that he expected to play Sunday.
The big news in my mind is Ahmad Brooks is not on the injury report. Brooks was limited in practice last week with a stinger, which left him as questionable for the game. He played, but had a slight reduction in snaps. He is hopefully recovered from the injury at this point and ready to go. The 49ers will need a lot from their outside linebackers on Sunday.
Quinton Patton and Michael Crabtree do not appear on the injury report at all. Crabtree indicated some general soreness after the game, but that's to be expected after such a long layoff. He will be back this week, and I imagine he'll get some time opposite Richard Sherman. It should be a fun matchup to watch.
As for Patton, I still think he'll be inactive this week, as the 49ers simply have too many bodies to cut down to the 46-man game-day roster.
