Golden Nuggets: Combine should show deep class with limited first-round locks

Friday, February 22nd, 2013 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of 49ers links from around the web.

So the combine is officially here! But we're still a day away from the things I actually care about: the drills. I love watching the drills, and I base a lot of my opinions off of them (well, not my overall opinion, but I do take them into account).

At any rate, I'm actually pretty excited for this draft class. The top end of the NFL Draft isn't stacked by any means and I agree with Mike Mayock in that respect. There aren't many game-changers at the top of the draft, but it is a very, very deep class at many positions.

Fortunately, they're deep at some of the big positions that the 49ers need this year. So that's a plus. Anyway, on to your quick links for the day.
