Jim Harbaugh met with the media on Friday, and we got another pearl of wisdom from the 49ers head coach. Harbaugh was asked about assessing players, and certain traits he deemed important, and he managed to reference Judge Judy in his comments!
Harbaugh was asked about the player interview process, and his thoughts on honesty in the process. Naturally this was a lead up to a Manti Te'o question, but getting to that point brought us some classic Harbaugh. Coach Harbaugh stated that if a player lies in the interview, their credibility is done. He then said he's a big fan of the Judge Judy show, and that when you lie to her, it's all over.
There is nothing surprising about his comments about lying in an interview, but how can you not love his mention of Judge Judy? I could seriously see him sitting at home after the Super Bowl and watching some Judge Judy to try and get over the Super Bowl loss before diving back into work.
