Super Bowl 2013 game time, tv schedule, how to watch online

How to watch or listen to Super Bowl XLVII as the 49ers look to claim Lombardi No. 6.

Scott Halleran

Well, here we go. At long last, it's game day! The 49ers and Ravens kick off at approximately 3:30 p.m. PT for all the marbles. The 49ers are 3 1/2 point favorites, while the Ravens are a team many have decided to call the team of destiny. I strongly believe the 49ers have the edge in enough key areas that they should be able to win this game handily. Unfortunately, the NFL does not always play by those rules. The best team does not always win, so we get 3 1/2 hours of action to find out if the 49ers bring home Lombardi No. 6.

We'll be here all day with plenty of coverage, including inactives, game threads and plenty of post-game content. In the meantime, here is a rundown of the basic nuts and bolts for the big game. If you are not a fan of the CBS Sports broadcasting squad, consider checking out any of the numerous radio broadcasts that will be available. Or just mute it and play some Mystery Science Theater 3000 with your Super Bowl party guests!

49ers vs. Ravens Odds

The 49ers opened as five point favorites, but a lot of early Ravens money drove the line down a point, before it settled at its current 3 1/2. There are reports of a fair amount of money coming in on 49ers moneyline, so plenty of folks expect a close game. If this game goes the way we all would like it, it will not be close.

Unfortunately, football doesn't usually go entirely according to plan. Mike Tyson once said everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face. The 49ers will want to come out strong, but they will also need to be ready to counter when the Ravens land a big blow of their own. We saw that against the Packers and Falcons. We'll see if it becomes an issue against the Ravens.
