The 49ers may not have taken home the Lombardi Trophy, but 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh is in the running to take home some other hardware. Harbaugh and pro partner Jason Day sit at -19 in the Pebble Beach Pro Am, and are leading the field of pro/amateur pairings heading into the weekend.
Harbaugh and Day shot a 61 on Thursday, and followed that up with a 63 on Friday, netting them a one-shot lead through two rounds. Harbaugh and Day will tee off at 9:06 a.m. on Saturday. There will be a three-hour broadcast from noon to 3:00 p.m. PT on CBS, so you are likely to be able to check out Coach Harbaugh's golf swing at some point during the broadcast.
All I really hope for is a Jim Harbaugh press conference at some point this weekend so we can get some random non-football quotations from him. Will he offer as little information about his golf swing as humanly possible?
