Anquan Boldin trade: NN and Twitter respond

I didn't have a camera around to shoot some video following the Anquan Boldin trade, so instead we've got some audio for you, set over some stats and whatnot. Give it a watch/listen when you get a minute. We'll have plenty more on this big trade and how it impacts the 49ers.

The 49ers decision to trade for Anquan Boldin has resulted in a firestorm of tweets. NFL.com posted a few of these, and a few I came across myself

Torrey Smith was caught mildly off guard by the trade.

The highlight of the day had to be the back and forth between Pete Prisco and Peter King. I'm not a Prisco fan as he is a bit too pompous for my taste. But I thought this was an amusing exchange. Pete went right to the "too slow" argument, even though speed has never been Boldin's game.

And yes, there will be plenty of NFC West slobbering. The 49ers and Seahawks are currently 5-to-1 co-favorites at MGM Resorts International to win the Super Bowl

Seahawks defensive end Bruce Irvin decided to chime in on this. Funny seeing a Seahawks player infer copying by the 49ers considering the Seahawks sign as many ex-49ers as they can find.

Warren Sapp might have had the line of the day, and I don't even like Warren Sapp!
