Well, I said yesterday that I expected the San Francisco 49ers to make a big move, but that I didn't necessarily know what kind of move it would be. Normally, trading a sixth-round pick for a player doesn't necessarily equate to being a big move, but given that Anquan Boldin has been so good for so long, I'm willing to call it a pretty bit splash.
In other words, that's extremely good value for someone like Boldin. He's at the tail-end of his career, but he's still a near-1,000-yard receiver, and that's big. I'd be shocked if he didn't produce in 2013, which is great because I haven't been a fan of many of San Francisco's wide receiver moves over the past couple seasons.
Let's jump right into your links for the day. I'll have more on Boldin and the Percy Harvin trade in a couple hours. Enjoy, folks.
