Fooch's Note: Site decorum is off
The new league is only an hour old and we've got plenty of updates. A lot of it is still about visits and likely landing spots, but in one hour we've probably heard more rumors than we did the entire three-day negotiation period.
The 49ers officially announced the least surprising news of the day. They have officially traded Alex Smith to the Kansas City Chiefs for two draft picks, they have acquired Anquan Boldin from the Baltimore Ravens for an undisclosed draft pick, pending a physical. Both moves were much-discussed, and now they are done. We'll gave so much more on both in the coming days.
On the rumor side of things, Delanie Walker may be out the door. There were reports the Titans were putting on a full court press and John McClain has since sent out this tweet:
Splendid job by Titans GM Ruston Webster to get G Andy Levitre and TE Delanie Walker, one of Niners' most underrated players.

Even as I wrote this, everybody is reporting he has agreed in principle to a four-year deal with the Titans. So, there's that.
In other news, Ricky Jean Francois and Isaac Sopoaga are both heading to Philadelphia for visits. The 49ers beat writers are reporting that there are two suitors for Sopoaga. Ricky Jean has of course had a whole bunch of suitors, but Jason LaCanfora and others think he does not leave Philly without a deal.
Would be pretty surprised if former 49ers DL Ricky Jean Francois left his first visit in Philly without a deal

The 49ers extended Ian Williams recently, and if they let Ice and RJF walk, I imagine they would also consider an option in the upcoming NFL Draft.
The 49ers are reportedly interested in former Redskins linebacker Lorenzo Alexander

Alexander would serve primarily in a special teams role, a'la Larry Grant or Tavares Gooden. He could serve as a reserve option, but I don't see him getting much time with the defense.
