We've been hearing a lot about a potential trade up in the draft for the San Francisco 49ers. Personally, I don't see why they wouldn't do it. All of their top picks aren't going to make the roster in 2013, or if they did, it would be a waste of space at this point. That said, I could see the team using some picks to maneuver for even more in 2014.
I'm not sure I would be alright with trading up for a wide receiver, though. I'd be OK with a defensive lineman, provided there is one worthy of that. Anyway, in other news, Kendall Hunter should be ready for the start of training camp. I'm really interested in seeing how the running back battle shapes up. My money is on Hunter, though.
