Golden Nuggets: Let the tampering really begin!

Saturday, March 9th, 2013 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

So yesterday, Dashon Goldson inferred that the San Francisco 49ers should be loyal and re-sign him to a contract extension. I really hate that kind of mentality, knowing that tons of fans will say it's the 49ers' fault if a deal doesn't get done, when in reality, we all know Goldson is eyeing a huge payday that the 49ers just can't give him. It would be great to see him back on the team, but I just don't see it happening.

The NFL's "legal tampering" period began last night and ... nothing eventful happened, from what I can see. The Kansas City Chiefs signed Dunta Robinson prior to that period beginning, seeing as how he was released by the Atlanta Falcons. I do wonder if he was an option for the 49ers, but somehow I doubt it.

Anyway, let's get on to the links for the day. Note: we're posting the Nuggets early due to some scheduling issues on the back-end that may or may not actually be there. Don't want to chance losing all this glorious linkage, you know?
