Earlier today, Bay Area-based boxer Nonito Donaire weighed in for his Saturday fight against Guillermo Rigondeaux. The two will fight at Radio City Music Hall on HBO to unify the WBO and WBA super bantamweight titles. 49ers running back Frank Gore was on hand for the weigh-in and had a chance to talk with CSN Bay Area's Ryan Maquiñana about the fight and the 49ers recent offseason moves. Check out the video up above.
Gore was on hand to support Nonito Donaire, in what is becoming more of a regular occurrence. Last July, Gore accompanied Donaire to the ring, carrying his championship belt. According to Ryan, Gore will not accompany Donaire to the ring on Saturday, but he will be ringside for the fight.
Naturally, Gore predicted Donaire would win the fight. He also had a few basic comments about the 49ers offseason acquisitions. The video is pretty short, so give it a watch when you get a minute.
