Today is a day of Trent Baalke quotes. He spoke yesterday about the 49ers past, present and future. This is his time of the year to shine, and so far it's been a pretty good offseason. We lost some guys, we laughed, we cried, but I think we can all see where the team will be next year. I'm still wondering if he's moving Chris Culliver to free safety, but he's not going to tell us that until much later. Secrecy is the key.
Trent Baalke, the Master
BASG takes a look at Baalke's comments regarding free agent free safety Charles Woodson. I think a lot of us are still nervous about the free safety position, and unless they use one of those first two picks on one, will continue to be. Baalke says the 49ers are interested, but we all know how he loves to use smoke screens. | Baalke says 49ers still have interest in Woodson, but should we believe him? (BASG)
Cam Inman summarizes nicely the key points of Trent Baalke's pre-draft interview. He discussed Glenn Dorsey's signing, the Alex Smith trade and more. | Baalke on draft trades: 'The wheeling and dealing can start at any time' (Inman)

49ers sign TE Cameron Morrah
Sando drops a brief tidbit on the Morrah signing, interesting as he covered the Seahawks for years. Morrah's injury has been seriously curtailed by injuries but has some similar skills to Delanie Walker...He's no blocker, though. There's also a table on the division's free agents. | On 49ers addition of ex-Seahawks tight end (Sando)
Report: 49ers agree to terms with Cameron Morrah (Gin)
Division Rivals
Sando continues his series of discussing the NFC West by position groupings. Today I give you two positions in which the 49ers are pretty obviously the leader, OL and TE. That our offensive line is the best in football is not even up for debate, in my opinion. | West OL ranks: 49ers first, but who's No. 2? (Sando)
West TE ranks: Still Vernon Davis' division (Sando)
Injury Updates
Hey, good news all around on the injury front. It looks like both Justin Smith and Aldon Smith will be ready for the opening of training camp. Further down, Kendall Hunter is back to sprinting. Achilles injuries are always tough, so it's good to see things are coming along fine. I'm worried about Mario Manningham. | Justin Smith, Aldon Smith rehabs on schedule (Maiocco)

Other News
Here's a big article from Inman about the ways in which our young QB, Colin Kaepernick, is trying to improve himself. We forget that the Super Bowl was his 10th start. He blames the 49ers' slow start on offense, not the final sequence of the game, for the loss. | Kaepernick trying to become the 'complete package' (Inman)
This shows how far off last season's top pick is. Maiocco puts forward the idea that A.J. Jenkins will be competing with Ricardo Lockette for their role on the field. YIKES! | Jenkins, Lockette will compete for receive roles (Maiocco)
