Golden Nuggets: Chris Culliver's mouth, er, typing-hand; Larry Grant suspended for PEDs

Saturday, April 20, 2013 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of 49ers links from around the web.

Larry Grant was suspended today for PEDs. Probably means we won't be bringing him back (if we ever were, anyway). Chris Culliver has embarrassed the team again. Some people are calling for him to be traded or released. You really don't want to isolate your fan base, but he's going to try his hardest.

I'm going to be quick. I've done a run of Nuggets lately that'd make Sourdough Sam's eyes spin like cash registers.

Controversies

I don't know if this is a likely scenario, but BASG takes the stance of trading Chris Culliver due to his inability to not do dumb things. Trades are difficult in the NFL. Some are calling for his release. I had extremely mild abuse heaped on me by people defending him on Twitter, saying who cares what he does and says off the field. That's fine until advertisers start backing away. | 49ers should seriously consider trading Chris Culliver (BASG)

Draft News

For anyone who says we don't need to draft multiple offensive lineman, I say you do if your backup at both tackles is your starting right guard. | 49ers draft outlook: Offensive line (Maiocco)

Schedule Stuff

Mike Sando says what I've been saying all along. 49ers have as easy a schedule as they could hope for. Seattle has a giant bullseye on their chest and a very difficult road schedule. They may go 7-1 at home, but they could go 2-6 on the road. YIKES! | Schedule could favor 49ers over Seahawks (Sando)
