This is it, people. The day is finally upon us. I've mentioned it before, but I don't think it's possible to be more excited for a team picking this far back in the draft and we all know why. Our clever general manager, Trent Baalke, has stockpiled such a wealth of picks that there's really no telling what will happen. Possibilities are limitless. We could move way up if we felt the urge or stockpile coveted picks for the highly-rated 2014 draft.
What do I think will happen? I think we'll trade up. My gut tells me we move up. I know, that's not a shock prediction, but trying to predict a Baalke's move is like catching flies with chopsticks. Our very own Draft Yoda will surprise us. I'd be shocked if we didn't see multiple trades over the three days. On to the links....
Oh, and I really hope last years surprise decides to participate in the 2013 season.
49ers Analysis
Christian Gin takes a look at what the 49ers could and should do in each of the seven rounds. There are possible trade up scenarios, potential targets and team needs and priorities. | 2013 49ers draft: Round by round forecast (Gin)
As mentioned, Baalke is going to do something that shocks us. We will be surprised, we will laugh, we will cry, we will wonder why. Thus, is the magic of Baalke. | Expect 49ers' Baalke to do the unexpected (NBC)
And for those of you who want an idea of what the 49ers are going to do in the first, here it is. Cam Inman has a mock-draft tracker and it has the 49ers selecting any one of 19 different players. 19 different players that the experts predict us taking! Mock Drafts
Sando looks at Scouts Inc's seven-round mock predictions for all of the NFC West teams. One criticism I have is that the 49ers don't address their need at offensive tackle. | Fun with Scouts Inc's seven-round mock (Sando)
Matt Maiocco gives us his mock draft and he has the 49ers taking CB D.J. Hayden. Predicting who the 49ers first selection will be is a prime example of chaos theory in operation. | Maiocco's mock NFL draft (Maiocco)

General Draft / Other
Here's a good one about the language scouts use, their passion and the work they do for the draft. Their work is some of the most important in the league. GM's mining draft gold will continue in their current positions. Those who don't will be shown the door. Scouts are their eyes and ears.
