49ers draft rumors: Chatter increasing about trade up, with Sheldon Richardson as potential target

The 2013 NFL Draft is less than twelve hours away, and the rumor mill is heating up. Adam Schefter and Jason Cole had the latest rumors floating around Radio City Music Hall:

Increasing chatter of SF coming up into top 15. 49ers looking to strengthen an already tough defense.

It increasingly sounds like SF wants a DL via trade up with Sheldon Richardson as the likely target.

This is not new information, as rumors and mocks have considered it over the last month. In early April, Matt Barrows first mocked out a 49ers trade up to get Sheldon Richardson. Last weekend, Jason Cole reported that the rumor mill was heating up that the 49ers wanted to move up.

The 49ers are in a position where they can move up, down and every which way. The good thing about the 49ers position is they could conceivably move up in the first round, while still adding some solid 2014 picks. With five picks in the first two days, the 49ers have as much flexibility as anybody.
