It's a massive edition of the Nuggets so I'm going to have to cut the chit chat short. I'm leaving tons of stuff out due to time constraints. I'm grouping it by overall pieces on the draft and then by pieces on the individual draftees of Day 3. And if you're looking for something non-draft related, you're probably looking in the wrong place, because that's all we're talking about today. There was a lot more written yesterday if you feel the urge to seek out more of your favorite scribes' comments. Enjoy!

Commentaries on 49ers Draft Class

Quinton Patton

He just might be the steal of the draft for us. A.J. Jenkins is the one who stands to suffer the most by this pick. He may be our No.3 receiver starting the season if Mario Manningham's rehab continues on it's current pace. | A.J. Jenkins has some competition - 49ers draft WR Quinton Patton (BASG)

Marcus Lattimore

Here's a big write up by Ruthless Sports Guy on his draft crush, Marcus Lattimore. It's got highlights, some pre-draft analysis and he is compared to Arian Foster. | 49ers select (RSG's draft crush) Marcus Lattimore (BASG)

By now you should have heard that Frank Gore and Marcus Lattimore had contact before the draft. They're situations coming out of college prompted Frank to give him some encouragement. Now they're teammates. | Marcus Lattimore connected with Frank Gore before the draft (Gin)

And Coach Harbaugh has said what many of us have been thinking. Marcus Lattimore may not play next year. He may get a "red-shirt" year, with a full-strength, fully prepared Lattimore expected to step up in '14. | Harbaugh tells NFL Network RB Lattimore may not play this year (Inman)

Quinton Dial

Quinton Dial was drafted to add depth to our defensive line. He's a bit like Glenn Dorsey size-wise and in that he is very versatile. Everyone wants to know who will be our starting DT in the 3-4, but with half of our snaps coming in the nickel, it looks more and more like we'll have a lot more rotation on the line. | 49ers add to DL depth in fifth round, select Dial from Alabama (Maiocco)

One of the big winners in the draft was Coach Jim Tomsula. He gets more toys to work with, some projects and a lot more pieces to make himself, our defense and the position group stand out. | Tomsula time: 49ers DL coach gets another project in 5th round (Branch)

Nick Moody

Some people are thinking that the selection of Nick Moody will be great for our special teams. After having a stellar 2011, the unit as a whole regressed in 2012, giving up a critical touchdown return in the Super Bowl. Many moves have been made to fix this. | Nick Moody - Florida State linebacker could be special teams ace with 49ers (SF Gate)

British discus thrower Lawrence Okoye, one of the most intriguing prospects around has never played a down of football. He's one of the most amazing physical specimens around (see Coach's comments below).
