Wow. What a big couple of days we just witnessed. And this from a team that many, me included, thought would be done until after the draft. Once again, I am proven wrong. Once again, I learned a lesson. Always stay on your toes and expect the unexpected.
There's a fair bit to cover and I'm on my way out the door for a night on the town. Short and sweet.
Carlos Rogers did not get a fully guaranteed 2013 salary on April 1 as everyone had believed. I really don't understand how salaries are this confusing that nobody can accurately have an idea of what a player makes, or when these bonuses kick in, but hey, it is damn hard. This means he's still a candidate to get cut or forced to restructure. | Carlos Rogers received only partial salary guarantee on April 1 (PFT)

When asked about the Cleveland Browns, Colt McCoy took the fifth. It's been a train wreck of an organization for quite some time so one can only imagine what it would be like to be tabbed as their savior. | Colt McCoy on the Browns: 'I'd rather stay away from that topic.' (PFT)

BASG takes a look at Charles Woodson, what it might take to get him, his motivations, and what it might mean for the 49ers' secondary. How would people like to see both he and Asomugha added to the secondary? | What signing Charles Woodson would mean for 49ers defense (BASG)

And here's a preview of a guy a lot of people thought the 49ers would be interested in. Does the signing of Nnamdi change that? I believe Trevor Woods just wrote a piece on that on the site. | 49 in 49: CB David Amerson (49ers.com)
