Niners Nation 2013 49ers NFL Draft Community Big Board - Spots 11-15

We open the floor for voting on our community big board for the 49ers. We move on to spots 11-15.

Jerry Lai-US PRESSWIRE

Last week, we got the Niners Nation community big board voting under way, and over the weekend we moved on to sports 6-10. I left voting open for two days and here were the results for the second round of voting (in bold):

1. Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
2. Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
3. Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas
4. Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
5. Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
6. Dion Jordan, OLB, Oregon (71 top votes): 608
7. Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia (31): 473
8. Jonathan Cyprien, S, Florida International (15): 392
9. Ezekiel Ansah, DE/OLB, BYU (20): 355
10. Datone Jones, DE, UCLA (23): 350

I am a little surprised Datone Jones was not further up in the balloting. He is a draft crush of a lot of people around here, but he did not quite get the love I was expecting. We do have our second safety on the board, with the rest sliding further down the board. I added safety D.J. Swearinger to this round of balloting, joining Matt Elam and Eric Reid.

Below you can vote on the next round of players, filling spots 11-15. This ballot removes the players guys above and adds another five in. Make sure and read through all the players before voting. Also, a reminder that even though a lot of these guys will not make it to the 49ers, we are treating this as if the players were to get there. Don't vote based on which players you think will be there. Rather, assuming all of these players are there, how would you rank them?

If you believe in taking the best player available regardless of position, Luke Joeckel has plenty of value. If you want to factor in team need, Joeckel loses value since the 49ers might be more inclined to trade from that pick if Joeckel were there. No one strategy is "right". Rather, each person has their own strategy for the board, and the community vote compiles it all together.
