Another slow news day means another easy one for ole Malone. I can't say I mind. We had to put in a lot of overtime due to the extended, ultimately disappointing postseason run. The easy days of May must be taken advantage of. I actually took some time to try to hunt down some more articles to include but had no luck. Audible sigh.

First up is East Bay Sports Guy with his piece on how hard it is for the loser of the Super Bowl to find success. Looking at the history of it all makes me worry. But if any team is poised to change that, it's our 49ers. How many times has the loser from the Super Bowl been the favorite to start the next season?
