Colin Kaepernick met the First Lady for the second time, and got a great photo Kaepernicking with her.

It has been a whirlwind offseason for San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, and he had one more big opportunity. As the picture above shows (from Kap's Instagram account), he had a chance to meet First Lady Michelle Obama, and even got her to Kaepernick for the camera.

This is not the first time Kap has met the First Lady. As Kap discussed in an NFL Network interview earlier this offseason, he is part of the First Lady's "Let's Move" campaign to get kids more active.

Kap has been making the rounds, showing up at awards shows and sporting events, while also building his sponsorship portfolio. Most recently, he worked out a deal with Jaguar to help promote their F-TYPE V8 S. During the promotion for that, his marketing and PR person, Shawn Smith (of XAM Sports), mentioned something that was particularly interesting. According to Smith, one of her first questions for potential companies is whether or not they like his tattoos. She said that if there is any hesitation, Kap and XAM Sports will not do the deal.

Although his profile is going sky high, this has not kept him away from preparations for the 2013 season. He has been working out plenty, and appears to be prepared to build on his breakout 2012 season. He has new weapons in Anquan Boldin, Quinton Patton and Vance McDonald. All seems well right now in the World of Kap.
