Earlier today, I put together a rundown of the injury status of 18 members of the 49ers heading into this week's mandatory minicamp. Coach Harbaugh just wrapped up some time meeting with the media and he had a few comments about some of the injured players.
Coach Harbaugh was asked about Mario Manningham, who is still rehabbing his torn knee ligaments. Matt Maiocco specifically asked if Harbaugh expects Manningham to be ready for the regular season. Coach Harbaugh responded with, "At some point." We'll have the transcript later this afternoon for more details, but you can take that how you want right now. I remain convinced Manningham starts the season on the PUP list, but I suppose we'll have to see what August brings.
Coach Harbaugh also mentioned that Darius Fleming would not be available for Tuesday's practice. He tweaked his knee last week at OTAs, and we have yet to hear what the details are beyond that. As long as he is absent, Corey Lemonier and Cam Johnson get additional snaps alongside Parys Haralson. We'll keep an eye out for more on Fleming's knee.
