Seems like everybody doing those "Mt. Rushmore" things now. Personally, I find it a bit pointless to do it for the San Francisco 49ers, but then again, I just think it's glaringly obvious which players would be on their's. I suppose it's not as cut and dry as some other teams, though I've seen a few argue about the fourth player on -- that is, after Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and Ronnie Lott (unless coaches are counted, then it gets more difficult).
Anyway, slow news day once again. As a reader pointed out yesterday, given the kind of news that's circulating around the NFL, the 49ers not being in said news is definitely preferred. However I suppose you can't really say the current news story is even related to the New England Patriots, as they did the right thing (whether or not Aaron Hernandez is convicted) by releasing the player.
