BASG has figured it out. Put Colin Kaepernick's name in the title of your post and people will find it, people will read it and people will like you. I'm following suit, riding Kaepernick, er, BASG's recently rising fame. Kaepernick is in the title and it will sell itself. In Aussie Rules Football, there is a team that everyone else hates called the Collingwood Magpies. They also have the most support. The editor of the Melbourne newspaper was asked why he puts the Magpies on the front cover all the time and he replied, "Simple, because I sell an extra 50,000 copies". That's paraphrased, but you see what I'm doing here. There's not really much else to talk about during these lonely June days other than popularity.
BASG surmises that Kaepernick will soon be the biggest star in Bay Area sports. Winning franchise quarterbacks, by nature of their position and the popularity of the sport they play will always have the upper hand. It looks like we have a superstar on our hands. | If Colin Kaepernick isn't the biggest star in the Bay Area already, he's getting close (BASG)
A recent Mike Sando list of the 20 greatest coaches of all time has stirred up some debate. To what degree are great coaches linked to great quarterbacks? Most great coaches have a great quarterback. A reader obliges Sando to justify his rankings (not in a mean way). | Great coaches without great quarterbacks? (Sando)
