Golden Nuggets: No charges for Ahmad Brooks

Friday, July 19, 2013 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

USA TODAY Sports

Good morning ladies and gents. So we got the good news yesterday that San Francisco 49ers linebacker Ahmad Brooks would not be charged by the DA. I still can't help but shake my head when I think of Brooks because given the stories told, there was clearly some pretty rampant stupidity at large, I only hope that the 49ers administer their own punishment as they see fit and that Brooks can get back to being one of the better outside linebackers in the NFL.

We're getting closer to training camp, which is just lovely. Part of me can't stand all of the crazy reports that come out of training camp (you guys, J.T. O'Sullivan really did win that "quarterback battle" all those years ago), but the rest of me is just happy for some actual, factual news to sink my teeth into. Anyway, let's get on to the links for the day.
