The hits just keep on coming. According to the beat writers, 49ers cornerback Chris Culliver has suffered a knee injury in practice. According to the reports, he was working on punt coverage in a non-contact drill. Trainers came out and he was carted off the field, with Eric Branch describing him as being in tears.

We don't know the severity of the injury, but the descriptions in these tweets are not good. While we wait to hear on the severity, I thought this was an interesting tweet.

We don't know whether that will become an issue, but it's something that will need to be considered depending on the severity of Culliver's injury.
