49ers vs. Chiefs preseason 2013: What do we call the Alex Smith Bowl in the preseason?

Welcome to the Alex Smith revenge game. OK, maybe not. The 49ers and Chiefs square off in a Week 2 preseason matchup with a lot more on the line than Alex Smith meeting Jim Harbaugh and the 49ers. There are numerous position battles with roster spots on the line. A.J. Jenkins needs to show what he can do. B.J. Daniels might get a shot at some playing time. Corey Lemonier will look to build on his strong preseason opener. Eric Reid will look to continue his pursuit of the starting free safety job.

We continue looking for answers, and today will give us some more answers. We probably won't figure out anything conclusively, but hopefully we can get a little closer to "the truth."
