Matt Barrows was asked if Quinton Patton was going to be active for tonight's game, and he sent out the following tweet in response:

As the 49ers get ready for Week 3 of the preseason, I know we're all looking forward to getting Quinton Patton on the field. He has been practicing basically one-handed thus far, and his drive has to be firing up Jim Harbaugh. Aside from Patton, is Baldwin the other guy you have to think people will be tracking, no matter when he comes in the game. The wide receiver position remains a significant question mark, so we'll be paying plenty of attention to the passing game all night long.
If the starters do get more playing time, we could see some of the bottom end of the roster missing out on possibly their last chance to impress. This will also potentially give us some insight into the first round of roster cuts, due by 1:00 p.m. PT this Tuesday. If a player is not getting playing time tonight, odds are not good he is sticking around past Tuesday.
