The NFL is back! Well, it might be better to describe it as sort of back. The Hall of Fame Game kicks off at 5:00 p.m. PT tonight, marking the first game of the 2013 preseason schedule. Tonight's game features the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins. The 49ers do not face either team, but it's some sort of football, so that's something.
When it comes to the Hall of Fame Game, I think I am generally more excited about the idea of the game, than the game itself. If the 49ers were playing, I'd obviously be a lot more excited. But it is football, so that's a step in the right direction.
For now though, we've got some football. And we've even got a team many of us actively dislike in the Dallas Cowboys. I can live with that. Here's your open thread for the game. As it is a game thread, site decorum is off for it.
