Golden Nuggets: 49ers-Broncos recap edition

The San Francisco 49ers lost 10-6 last night (or maybe, earlier this evening?), in a game that at times was as dull as the score sounds. The 49ers got some work for most of their roster, so there will be plenty to evaluate in the coming days. The 49ers next preseason game is next Friday in Kansas City.

The preseason is a bit of a pain because the games are a lot later than normal. I'm operating on the East Coast in Washington, D.C., and I drew the short straw for covering the links tonight. Given that the game ended at midnight eastern time, recaps will not be coming for a bit as I schedule these 49ers links for 2:00 a.m. PT.

I have found some recaps, and will post them first, but otherwise, I'd like to sort of crowd-source this tonight. I'd like to strongly encourage people to drop links in the comments. Everybody had stories on the Eric Wright signing, so I have posted those links down below. Given that I cannot get the game recap links in here before I go to bed, I thought I'd post general links to the various beat writers. That way, you can head directly to their sites and read their recaps. If you read a good one and get a minute, please drop a link in the comments for other people to check.

Apologies for not having more specific links, but let's see how this works for everybody. This is not a switch in the Nuggets moving forward. It is simply a one-time thing due to timing.
