Call for writers: Anybody interested in helping with the Golden Nuggets?

The Golden Nuggets have become a daily feature on Niners Nation, providing people with the day's links, as well as a general open thread for all sorts of random discussion. James Brady and Aaron Malone have been handling them regularly, splitting things up each week.

They will continue running the Nuggets, but Aaron has to cut back due to family obligations. After some discussion, we'd like to try and work a third person into the Golden Nuggets crew. Aaron will continue handling Wednesday and Thursday morning, while James can handle Sunday and Tuesday, and possibly Friday. Ideally we'd like to find one or more people to cover Monday, Friday and Saturday.

At present, the Nuggets generally are posted at 2 a.m. PT. That is obviously very early, so if you are interested, please keep that in mind. If nobody can cover that early, we can always work on the scheduling and potentially push them to late in the early morning on certain days.

If you are a regular on the site, you've seen the formats that James and Aaron use. You do not have to feel obligated to post them in the exact formats you've seen. I'm open to ideas for different ways to post the daily links. And I think having them appear in a variety of formats throughout the week could be fun.

It is also possible covering the Nuggets could lead to other writing opportunities. There are no guarantees, but it's a fun way to get a little more involved at Niners Nation.
