49ers vs. Seahawks: Seattle to user undercover cops dressed in 49ers jerseys

The 49ers and Seahawks square off this Sunday in a matchup that could feature some fairly unruly fans on both sides of the aisle. We take a look at one way Seattle will confront the problem. New to Niners Nation? Sign up here and join the discussion!

As the 49ers prepare to head to Seattle to face the Seahawks, Seattle is preparing for a rather boisterous crowd. The Seahawks announced earlier this week that aside from uniformed police, the stadium will have undercover cops dressed up in 49ers jerseys. If you get thrown out of the stadium, you have to complete a four-hour $75 online course to eventually return to the stadium.

This is not the first time a team has done this. The 49ers had a similar set-up in place for the NFC Championship Game in 2011. The week before, Saints fans were treated rather poorly at Candlestick, so the cops set this up to prevent similar treatment of Giants fans. I'm sure it did not prevent all such bad behavior, but it was a step to help clean it up a bit.

The Seahawks plan got the Taiwanese animation treatment. If you haven't seen these before, NMA.tv puts together animations on notable events. They offer English versions, but I love the one using Chinese characters and English subtitles. It entertains me to not end.
