In case you were curious, the San Francisco 49ers departed for Seattle earlier this afternoon. Based on this Boobie Dixon tweet, it would appear the team took off close to 3:30 pm.

The flight is about two hours long from San Jose to Sea-Tac airport, so by the time some of you get around to reading this post, the team will already have landed in the Pacific Northwest.
The 49ers social media tweeted out some pictures and Vine video as the team bussed over to the airport, and then boarded the plane.

It appears the media is traveling en masse as well, on a separate plane. I wonder if "press plane" means commercial flight up?
On board "the press plane" to Seattle, says gate checker. Also aboard @MaioccoCSN @LowellCohn @GrantCohn @Eric_Branch. But no @mattbarrows?!

The 49ers normally head out on Friday for most of their road games, but given how close Seattle is, a quick over-night trip seems simple enough. My guess is the team will fly back down late Sunday night after the game wraps up.
