Fooch's Update: Game back on as of 7 p.m. PT

Fooch's Note: The weather delay ended just before 7 p.m. PT. Game on!

The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks Sunday Night Football contest has been suspended due to weather conditions with 3:13 left in the first quarter. Rain and thunder was not a huge problem, but there was lightning. According to NBC's Weather Channel guy, it looks like the lightning will last between 20 and 30 minutes.

The game has been a bit sloppy, with neither quarterback looking particularly great. Russell Wilson has a pair of interceptions, while Colin Kaepernick had a tipped pass intercepted. Kap has looked a little bit better, completing 4 of 8 passes for 33 yards, and scrambling for 16 yards on four runs. Wilson is 0 for 6 with one interception.

For now, the score is tied 0-0, and we sit and wait for something to change. NBC is keeping us updated with a Weather Channel guy, but for now, we wait. It's as good a time as any on the west coast to grab your dinner and settle in. Out here on the east coast, I'm just prepared for an even longer night!
