49ers vs. Colts injury report: Eric Reid with one more concussion test to pass

We break down the 49ers and Colts final injury reports heading into their Week 3 matchup.

Jim Rogash

The San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts released their final injury reports, and there are no real surprises. We discussed the Colts report earlier in the day, with LaRon Landry ruled out, Pat Angerer doubtful, and Antoine Bethea and Cory Reddin questionable.

The 49ers injury report is about what we would expect. Vernon Davis, Ray McDonald, Eric Reid and LaMichael James are all listed as questionable. Davis sat out all three days of practice, and Jim Harbaugh has declared him a game-time decision. McDonald sat out Wednesday and Thursday, but was a limited participant on Friday. Reid was limited all week in a blue non-contact jersey, but Jim Harbaugh said if he passed one more concussion test Friday, he would be cleared on Saturday.

LaMichael James sat out Wednesday, but was limited Thursday and Friday. He is working back from an MCL sprain, and this is his first practice work since he suffered the injury in the final preseason game. I would be surprised if James was active this Sunday, but the real question is what to expect next week with the short week before facing the Rams on Thursday Night Football.
