Golden Nuggets: Bring on the Colts!

Sunday, September 22, 2013 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning ladies and gents. Today, the San Francisco 49ers face an important matchup (is there anything other than important matchups when there's only 16 games per season?) as they host the Indianapolis Colts. This isn't a "must-win" per se, but stringing together back-to-back losses would be a very big deal, especially in this year's NFC West.

Then again, this is about what most of us expected heading into Week 3, right? I think it speaks volumes that the line has been less about beating the Colts and more about recovering from the beating they received at the hands of the Seahawks. So let's correct this and state it as clearly as possible:

The 49ers are going to beat the Colts today. That's all there is to it. Let's go to your links for the day, shall we?
