The San Francisco 49ers and St. Louis Rams each wrapped up their second practice of the week, providing their latest practice participation report. The 49ers sent out this tweet about Vernon Davis

The 49ers listed Davis as limited on Tuesday's report, but that followed a limited listing on Monday as well. I suppose he might not have done nearly as much on Monday, but it's hard to tell what exactly is going on. Of course, considering he sat out practice all last week, this is a big step forward.

Nnamdi Asomugha and Patrick Willis remain out of practice, and I think it'd be a pretty big surprise if either suited up for Thursday Night Football. Willis has said he wants to, but it just doesn't seem likely, and furthermore, probably not wise given how groin injuries can get aggravated.

On the Rams side, quite a few of their players were bumped up to full participants. Rodger Saffold is probably the most notable injury. He suffered an MCL sprain in Week 2, and likely will sit out Thursday.
