The San Francisco 49ers face the St. Louis Rams on Thursday Night Football this week. The game marks their first significant road trip of the season, having only gone up the coast to Seattle two weeks ago.

The 49ers trip to St. Louis will be a relatively quick one, as they departed Wednesday morning, and I imagine will fly back shortly after Thursday's game. Here is some Vine video from 49ers digital media coordinator Taylor Price, as the team bussed to the airport and boarded their plane.

I'm not positive, but I believe this Delta Fl. 8871 was their flight from San Jose to St. Louis. It lists an "average fare", but I'm not quite so sure. The take-off time was right about when it appeared the 49ers were taking off.

Just before the take-off time, linebacker Nate Stupar tweeted out this picture from Instagram.

One interesting aspect of this picture is Lawrence Okoye in the distance. Okoye is on the 49ers injured reserve list, but the team is still bringing him on road trips.

Speaking of Okoye, I had a chance to get down on the sideline before Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. I spotted Okoye walking on the field. He was wearing a brace, and had a bit of a noticeable limp. The 49ers have never confirmed what injury he suffered, but Jim Harbaugh did say he felt they dodged a bullet.

Speaking of injured players, if you go through the 49ers gallery of photos from their trip to the airport, you'll see Michael Crabtree made the trip with the team. I guess it's not a big surprise with Okoye on the plane, but it's still cool to see.
