With the Win...
- The 49ers improved their all-time record against the Rams to 63-62-3.
- The 49ers improved their record at the Edward Jones Dome to 10-9.
- The 49ers improved their record in Prime Time to 64-33.
- The 49ers improved their record on Thursday Night Football to 7-2.
- Head coach Jim Harbaugh improved his record against the Rams to 3-1-1.
- Harbaugh improved his record against the NFC West to 9-4-1.
- Harbaugh improved his record vs. the NFC to 19-7-1.
- Harbaugh improved his road record to 12-6, which is tied for 3rd best in the NFL since the start of the 2011 season.
- Harbaugh improved his record in Prime Time to 7-3.

Davis Finds Paydirt
- TE Vernon Davis hauled in his 3rd TD of the season on a 12-yd. TD pass from QB Colin Kaepernick. Davis now has 43 career TDs.
Take It Away
- S Donte Whitner picked of Rams QB Sam Bradford, marking his 1st INT of the season and 9th of his career. The INT lead to a 33-yd. TD run by RB Frank Gore on the ensuing series.
- LB NaVorro Bowman sacked and stripped Bradford and the loose ball was recovered by DT Tony Jerod-Eddie. It marked the 2ndFF of the season and 3rd career FF for Bowman and the first-career FR for Jerod-Eddie. RB Anthony Dixon scored on a 1-yd. TD run on the ensuing drive.
Applying The Pressure
- The 49ers defense registered 5.0 sacks on Rams QB Sam Bradford. This marks the first time the 49ers defense notched 5.0 sacks-or-more in a game since 11/25/12 at NO (5.0 sacks of QB Drew Brees).
- LB NaVorro Bowman led the way with 2.0 sacks, marking his first-career multi-sack game. He now has 2.0 sacks on the season and 6.0 in his career.
- LB Ahmad Brooks tallied 1.5 sacks, giving him 2.5 sacks on the season and 29.0 for his career.
- DL Glenn Dorsey registered 1.0 sack. He now has 2.0 sacks on the season and 6.0 for his career.
- DT Justin Smith added 0.5 sack, his first of the season. Smith now has 76.5 sacks in his career.
It's A First
- LB Dan Skuta made his first start as a member of the 49ers and LB Michael Wilhoite made his first career start.
- WR Jon Baldwin and QB Colt McCoy each made their 49ers debut.
- LB Nate Stupar and CB Darryl Morris each made their NFL debut.
