49ers vs. Packers inactive report: Nnamdi Asomugha active, Morgan Burnett inactive

The San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers each released their seven-man inactive reports, and there are a mild surprise on Green Bay's side. The big news for the Packers is that free safety Morgan Burnett is inactive. Burnett practiced Wednesday and Thursday, but had to sit out Friday's practice after aggravating a hamstring issue. He will join cornerback Casey Hayward on the sideline, which leaves the Packers a bit short-handed in their secondary. It will be interesting to see how the 49ers attack the Green Bay secondary.

Nnamdi Asomugha is active, which means he should be good to go as the 49ers third cornerback. The 49ers will deactivate LaMichael James, as he recovers from his MCL sprain. Chris Harper and Jon Baldwin are both inactive as they continue to get acclimated to the 49ers offense. The 49ers acquired Baldwin in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs two weeks ago. They signed Harper off the Seattle Seahawks practice squad earlier this week.
