Monday Night Football open thread: Eagles vs. Washington, Texans vs. Chargers

We've got an open thread for Monday Night Football discussion.

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

We get the annual double-dip of Monday Night Football tonight as the Philadelphia Eagles travel to face Washington at 3:55 p.m, followed by the Houston Texans traveling to face the San Diego Chargers at 7:15 p.m. Both games are on ESPN, which means this is your annual warning that Chris Berman is announcing a football game. He will cover the Texans-Chargers game.

The Eagles and Washington follow up Sunday's Giants-Cowboys NFC East matchup as the division gets its division rivalries going right off the bat. Washington will roll out quarterback Robert Griffin III as he makes his first game appearance since aggravating his knee in the playoffs last year. It will be interesting to see how he performs with such a relatively quick turnaround.

Washington welcomes a new-look Eagles squad to town as they will roll out the Chip Kelly offense. I have no idea if they will find success, but I have to admit I can't wait to see how it all plays out.

The second half of the double-header features the Texans and Chargers. San Diego looks all kinds of a mess and I have a hunch Houston rolls them tonight.
