Early pictures from Lambeau Field prior to 49ers-Packers

The San Francisco 49ers face tough cold weather on Sunday. We've got some pictures as the 49ers arrive at the stadium.

The San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers kick things off at 1:40 p.m. PT, but we've got some early pictures to start setting the scene at Lambeau Field.

It's a frigid day, but it sounds like the weather is not quite as epically awful as many anticipated. It could still drop below 0 during the game, but the wind chill that was estimated as high as -40 or -50 is looking more like -20 at the worst. It will be incredibly cold, but hopefully the difference in what it is and what it could have been is enough to make it at least bearable.

How cold is it today? Packers fans are apparently not entirely prepared to tailgate.

That's still pretty early, but usually tailgates are out fairly early in the day.

Jewel Hampton walked outside and got smacked in the face by the cold:

Hand warmers are ready!

Along with some hot cider!

The 49ers have arrived at the facility at Lambeau. The @49ers Twitter account tweeted out this Vine of them coming off the bus.

Here's Patrick Willis getting off the bus:

And some Colin Kaepernick:

We've got an early picture of Lambeau before fans are allowed in. There's some snow left under the seats, but not too bad.

And the 49ers locker room is ready to go:

GO NINERS!
