Golden Nuggets: Interesting Week Ahead

Sorry 49er fans! This Harbaugh locker room issue will not go away this season. More and more media people are adding fuel to the fire by the day. And you know what? They are right. Players are not necessarily in love with Harbaugh. But that means nothing to this team. This team has only 1 goal in mind and that is to win the Super Bowl. The players don't have to love Jim. They respect him though. Not for one second do I believe that this veteran group doesn't want to win it all. They have been so close for 3 straight seasons. Before that, they were stuck in the bottom of the league. Do you know who pulled them out of there? Jim Harbaugh!

It is pretty easy to see why Harbaugh may drain these players. He seems to be intense all the time. His drive to win might wear players out after a few years. But they know that is what makes him a great coach. His intensity and focus separates him from other coaches in the league. So yeah, there probably a few players that are irritated by him, but I don't think they necessarily want him out. And the front office should take notice if they do. Those players are probably replaceable. Great coaches are hard to find.

This week should be extra fun with the Sunday showdown with Alex Smith's Chiefs at Levi's Stadium. Are you ready to hear the constant debate between Colin Kaepernick and Alex Smith? It is coming. I remember those Alex Smith 49er teams. I have nothing bad to say about him. But his time in San Francisco was long gone. It was best for both parties to part ways. The Niners handed the keys to Colin and have been close to winning their 6th Super Bowl. Alex Smith has resurrected his career in Kansas City. Jim Harbaugh saved Alex's career, but he knew he needed another QB. Colin has rare ability to play make and has led this team very well.
