College Football Week 7: Schedule, games to watch, and NFL prospects

We take a look at the week seven college football schedule and the games to keep an eye on.

Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports

The top ten looks a lot different this week after multiple teams fell to defeat last Saturday. The schedule today features five match ups between ranked teams, which should lead to another good Saturday of college football!

No. 13 Georgia at No. 23 Missouri

Georgia will be without their Heisman candidate running back Todd Gurley. The tailback has been suspended for allegedly being paid to sign autographs and memorabilia. The good news for Georgia is they have two freshman running bakcs that can get the job done. Running backs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel have rushed for a combined 447 yards on just 54 carries.

No. 2 Auburn at Mississippi

Both Auburn and Mississippi State had impressive wins last week, Auburn won 41-7 over LSU and Miss State won 48-31 over Texas A&M. Auburn's stout defense will make this hard for Mississippi to score a lot of points yet again, but I could still see this turning into a shootout. Both teams feature solid running games and dual threat quarterbacks. Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott has emerged as a Heisman candidate, with 1,232 yards passing and already 455 yards rushing on the season. Prescott has a big time arm but his footwork has been inconsistent. Currently he has 13 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions this year.

No. 12 Oregon at No. 18 UCLA

Oregon and UCLA both look to get back on the winning track after being upset last week. Oregon's offensive line has been their weakness to this point in the year and it has made it tough for Marcus Mariota to thrive and not get knocked on his butt. This is a golden opportunity for UCLA to ascend not only in the PAC 12, but to climb back up the rankings nationally as well. Bruins quarterback Brett Hundley could be the first quarterback drafted in the 2015 draft, and today will be a good measure of his skill facing off against Mariota.

The other ranked games on tap for today are #9 TCU at #5 Baylor and #3 Ole Miss at #14 Texas A&M. What games will you be watching?
