49ers vs. Rams: Division matchup under the lights!

The San Francisco 49ers are on the road in Week 6, facing the St. Louis Rams on Monday Night Football. The 49ers are looking to build on their current 2-game winning streak. We've got all the nuts and bolts for the game, as well as an open thread for discussion.

The San Francisco 49ers and St. Louis Rams square off on Monday Night Football in a Week 6 clash of divisional rivals. The 49ers are 3-2 and riding a 2-game win streak behind a strong defense and run game. The Rams are 1-3 and on a 2-game losing streak. They have struggled on defense, but the offense is slowly coming around behind quarterback Austin Davis. The offense has averaged 26 points per game with Davis in the starting spot.

The 49ers are 3.5-point favorites in this game. The line opened at 4 points, and has hung right around there all week long. The 49ers are 1-3 ATS in their last four against the Rams, but they are 8-1 in their last nine games on Monday Night Football, and 7-1-1 in their last nine games as road favorites.

The 49ers will be without cornerback Tramaine Brock and right tackle Anthony Davis, but welcome back tight Vernon Davis. We'll see how that impacts both the 49ers passing game and ground game.
