The San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos are through their first practices of Week 7, and we've got some participation reports for you.
The good news for the 49ers is the return of Tramaine Brock and Anthony Davis. They were both listed as limited participants on Wednesday. I would still be surprised if they played this Sunday, but it is a good step forward that they are both active participants in practice. The 49ers have a bye following this game, so it makes sense to get them another week to get back to full, or close to full participation in practice.
Mike Iupati, Jimmie Ward and Patrick Willis all sat out practice with their respective injuries. Iupati is going through the concussion protocol, so he needs to be asymptomatic at rest and after exertion. Ward is dealing with a quadricep strain that apparently could be a week-to-week issue. Willis has a toe injury that Jim Harbaugh says is not turf toe, but might be at least a mild version of it.
Stevie Johnson was listed as limited, so that is a good step for him. He suffered a hip injury on Monday when he took a knee there during the onside kick recovery.
